Back then we all started with skateboard grip tape, fortunately today we ride tape which is much more grippy and softer, such as FBS Extra Smooth or similar.
Griptape seems to be making a comeback though. Meanwhile many fingerboarders are using griptape again to bring more color into their setups. With griptape available in many different colors, you're sure to find the right color combination for your setup.
