*Note: Prototype wheels have bearings that are more easily removable (when the wheels aren't on your board) and are fully functional when installed. They cannot be returned and are sold as-is.*
72D features our proprietary harder urethane formula! Increased squeak and an amazing balance of performance and feeling. Our normal urethane wheels are 60D, and are even softer and grippier than these.
New Urethane FlatFace Wheels! These are made with the same material as a real skateboard wheel. In celebration of our recent acquisition of the Blistered Wheels company, we've taken our G9 dual bearing wheel and put it in Urethane form! This gives it a softer and more grippy feel. These are 60D from the same urethane as Blistered wheels, and they have an even softer and grippier feel that is unbelievably smooth, thanks to our ultra sleek finish and unique design! There's no other wheel out there like these, and everybody who tries them has the same look on their face, surprise and satisfaction! Who knew a wheel could get this good? This is our softest and most grippy FlatFace wheel.
Please note that these wheels will not fit standard Blackriver or Dynamic trucks, you must use the special Dual Edition BRR Trucks for Dual Bearing Wheels (available now at FlatFace) or the Dual Bearing style Dynamic Trucks (coming soon to FlatFace.) These wheels will also fit many other trucks such as Tech Deck, Dump Trucks, Fire Trucks, Bollie Trucks, Caramel Trucks, YTrucks and more.
4 + 7 = 9! We took our most popular wheel, the G4, and combined it with our legendary G7 dual bearing design (originally created in 2007) to bring out a modernized dual bearing wheel. This design replicates a real skateboard wheel and has some incredible advantages compared to the traditional single bearing wheels on the market. The dual bearing design makes for an even more durable wheel, with no possibility of the bearing-slip problem, making these wheels last even longer! They also have an incredibly smooth and fast feeling, you won't believe it until you try it for yourself! The performance of these wheels is amazing with a slightly different center of gravity and weight than a single bearing wheel, plus it helps to make for a slightly wider setup due to the position of the wheels on the trucks. Dual Bearing wheels are the cutting-edge future of fingerboard wheels and takes it to a whole new level.
Note about removing/inserting bearings: The bearings on dual bearing wheels can sometimes be easily removable when the wheels are not installed on a board, this is normal and is not a problem if it happens. When they are on the trucks and the nut is on, the bearings are held in place. If a bearing comes out while you are handling the wheels, simply push it back in by hand with a fingerboard tool if needed. If you want to remove a bearing for cleaning (or for fun) you can pry them out using your truck's axle the same way you would with a skateboard wheel, and then push the second one out with a tool.
